Hablar del territorio, intervenir e interpretar espacios a través del bordado para crear conexiones. En 1876 se publicó por primera vez "The Hunting of the Snark'', un poema de Lewis Carroll con ilustraciones de Henry Holiday. Entre los dibujos aparece una carta de navegación: "Ocean chart". Un mapa con orientaciones y escala, pero sin información aparente, sólo el mar cartografiado como la nada.
Partiendo de este mapa en blanco como base, se produce un ejercicio de síntesis donde plasmo caminos propios que articulan un paisaje interior. Caminos que configuran su propia cartografía y paisaje a través de la experimentación con aguja, hilo y papel.

Talking about the territory, intervening and interpreting spaces. Embroidering to create connections.In 1876 “The Hunting of the Snark'', a poem by Lewis Carroll with illustrations by Henry Holiday, was published for the first time. Among the drawings appears a navigation chart: “Ocean Chart”. A map with orientations and scale,
but with no apparent information, just the sea charted as nothingness.
Starting with this blank map as a base, there is an exercise of synthesis where I capture my own paths that articulate an interior landscape. The paths that configure her own cartography and landscape through experimentation with needle, thread and paper.

Nautic dialogues; light marks.
In phases, a message is illuminated with specific and crucial information for the sailor. Vessels not only see the light from them, but also identify it by the intervals (phases) and the colours of the light beams.
In the next serie you can appreciate the flashing of the luminous marks of the in/out of the port.

Diálogos náuticos; balizas luminosas.
En fases, se ilumina un mensaje con información específica y crucial para el navegante. Los navíos no sólo ven la luz procedente de ellas, sino que también la identifican por los intervalos (fases) y los colores de los haces luminosos.
En la siguiente serie se puede apreciar el destello de las marcas luminosas de la entrada/salida del puerto.
Mouline thread is the only binding element in the artwork, on high quality 160gr recycled natural fibre paper, one or multiple images printed on 90gr vegetable paper are composed and assembled by embroidering and thus creating a dialogue in each cartography. No glue or adhesive is used in this work, which makes it more genuine in the concept of union and what sewing or embroidery represents.

Hilo de mouliné es el único elemento de unión en la obra, sobre papel de alta calidad de fibras naturales recicladas de 160gr se compone una o varias imágenes impresas sobre papel vegetal de 70gr que se unirán bordando y así creando un diálogo en cada cartografía. Ningún pegamento o adhesivo se utiliza en esta obra, lo cual la hace más genuino en el concepto de la unión y lo que representa coser ó bordar.
